iVillage & The Talk
The iVillage #HaveTheTalk campaign is super important especially during the holidays.

Ways to give back during the holidays.
When talking to my daughter about ways to give back, especially to the less fortunate during the holidays we discuss the Food pantry's, Many good causes, and the Salvation army. We don't just donate money, but give of our selves and time. We do gift wrapping, and the angel tree for children, ringing the bell for the kettle drive. She understands that the holidays are about giving of what we have to others so that they may feel blessed. It's a great feeling to know she really enjoys making others happy. Giving of herself and receiving nothing more then a thank you and hugs. It's more then we could ever ask for is the smile's on people's faces.

Give Back.... Donate to a charity!
I was directed to the GiveBack website from One2One Network this past week. I had never heard of it before, but once I had the opportunity to get on their site and see what they are all about, I really fell in love with them.
To start with, once you log on and you sign up for an account you are give $5 to donate to a charity of your choice. I chose DISABLED PERSONS ACTION ORGANIZATI N INC
since they are so near and dear to my heart because my twin sister is disabled with Cyrabral Palsy and attended DPAO since she was a kid. They did after school activities with her and many other children with develop mentally and physically disabled conditions. They also do a day-hab program with grownups that have disabilities as well!

I urge you to log onto GiveBack and take that $5 and start donating and if you blog, write a post about it and get your followers to use GiveBack. They have a very helpful video that you can view below that talks about their organization and what they do for communities in your area.

A woman that Inspires me...
I have to say that would be my twin sister.
She is amazing and strong. She has cyrabral palsy but dosent let that get in the way of what she wants to do. She has battled depression, anxiety, ADHD, Carpal tunnel, and many other issues. She seeks the help she needs and still try's to help everyone else. She has helped me through out the years by babysitting, allowing me to crash at her place, Being available for talk when ever I needed it and she has even helped me out financially a time or two. She is very sweet and very giving. I hope I will be able to give a little back by winning this Amex Gift Card. Thanks for the opportunity.

A Bit About Me!
Hey, thought I should at least post a bit about myself. Basically I really enjoy entering Giveaways! I haven't done it in months, and when I did do it earlier this year I would win a ton! I loved it. The biggest thing I ever won was a Queen Sleep Number Bed. I love that bed.
Anyways, I'm married. Currently separated- it was my choice. I'm a mother to a wonderful- yet pain in the ass daughter. She is 6 years old. I am a photographer, and a Baker. Yet still a stay at home mom. I work for my father as a photographer when he needs the extra help with weddings or just editing pictures. As for the Baker I do wedding cakes, Birthday cakes, Personalized designer cookies, and everything else anyone could want. I am also Coupon crazy. I love to figure out how to use a coupon and get stuff for free! It is such a thrill! Especially when a cashier looks at you and is amazed how I got a total of $400 down to $20! ya... fun stuff.
Well that's all I got to say for now. Wish me luck in my entries to giveaways. I want to win an Ipad!!
